Wedding receptions have been held at this magical Leicestershire wedding venue for over 35 years and Catthorpe Manor is one of the longest established wedding venues in Rugby and Lutterworth so, no matter what your preference – whether it is for a large wedding with elaborate detail or you are simply looking for a beautiful civil ceremony venue where your special day can be shared with close friends and family – you can be certain that the organisation of the day is in great hands.

Catthorpe Manor has the advantage of being neither too large nor too small for the majority of wedding sizes. The banqueting halls provide spacious and elegant facilities for wedding receptions of over 50 people (max 250), whilst the manor house itself with the beautiful lounge and delightful Lake Room can accommodate more intimate numbers. The estate is situated in the heart of the Midlands, on the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire borders and benefits from 26 stunning acres of gardens, parkland and woodland with views down the adjacent field to the tranquil lake providing the most spectacular of photographic backdrops. Wedding photographs can be set in any area of the grounds, with the side aspect of the house ideal for group shots and the walled wild-flower garden perfect for romantic photographs of the bride and groom.

Catthorpe Manor has been licensed by Leicestershire County Council as a venue for civil marriages and civil partnerships, so for those who don’t wish to marry in a church or other establishment the whole wedding day can take place in just this one magical location, meaning that there is no need for the hire of costly wedding cars or the chance that guests may get lost between ceremony venue and reception venue! Dining: Wedding Breakfasts & Evening Receptions

The catering team at Catthorpe Manor have years of experience delighting customers with delicious, home cooked wedding breakfasts and can cater for the majority of requirements. The wedding breakfast menus are largely traditionally themed with great, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and the hearty fare is always very popular with clients and their guests. In addition the catering team offer a wide range of evening reception food, with choices including free-range locally sourced hog roasts, traditional finger buffets, hot buffets such as homemade chicken curry and rice, to a magnificent cheese banquet served with assorted rustic breads, chutneys and pickles.

Accommodation Couples choosing Catthorpe Manor as their wedding venue have the advantage that the whole package can be found in one place, from the civil ceremony through to the overnight accommodation. A delightful bridal suite is available to the bride and groom for just £80.00 per night, which has beautiful views out over the gardens, whilst their guests wishing to stay the night will find basic yet convenient accommodation in The Baltic Lodge. The accommodation in the Lodge is best described as ‘no-frills’ and, at present, has no en-suite facilities. However it offers clean, comfortable lodgings at an extremely reasonable £20 per person (including breakfast). For those requiring en-suite rooms Catthorpe Manor has negotiated a special arrangement with a number of local venues who offer preferential rates to our guests.
