| Brides and grooms seeking a beautiful, elegant and peaceful civil ceremony venue in Leicestershire need look no further than Catthorpe Manor, just outside Rugby and Lutterworth. The estate has three light and elegant licensed civil ceremony rooms to choose from plus a stunning outdoor space where the couple can exchange vows under the romantic stone Loggia whilst guests watch from the beautiful formal gardens. Catthorpe Manor has facilities to cater for smaller ceremonies for just 50 or so guests*, up to large ceremonies for up to 165 people.
Ceremonies are usually followed by a wedding breakfast and evening reception at the manor but, if a ceremony alone is required, the venue is available on mid-week dates and subject to terms and conditions of hire, making it the ideal option for those couples who’d like to marry in a beautiful venue but who would prefer a low-key wedding day without the additional reception. *Subject to restrictions on date. |

The Lake RoomThe Lake Room offers a stunning setting for a small intimate ceremony, where up to 51 people can be accommodated (including bride and groom plus two Registrars and a member of staff), and has a beautiful polished hard-wood floor, crystal chandelier and is awash with natural day light even on the gloomiest of days. The LoungeA simply stunning airy and light room, with virtually floor to ceiling length sash windows, giving the impression of a Victorian conservatory or orangery, polished hard-wood floor and crystal chandeliers. Vows can be be exchanged either in front of the large feature fireplace or at the other end of the room in front of a beautiful gilt edged mirror. The Old HallThe Old Hall, part of the estate’s Banqueting Halls Suite, offers spacious facilities for large weddings and can accommodate up to 164 people (including bride and groom, two registrars and a member of staff) and is an enchanting, atmospheric room, bursting with character and featuring stone arch doorways and glossy polished dark wood floor. The Loggia (‘outdoor’ civil ceremony)The grand stone Loggia at Catthorpe Manor completes the line-up of beautiful civil ceremony rooms. The structure is enclosed on three sides, with a glass roof allowing natural daylight to flood the area. On the fourth side The Loggia is open to the magnificent formal gardens, with views across open countryside as far as the eye can see. This spectacular location is one of the only ‘outdoor’ civil ceremony venues in the Midlands and is available from January 2013 for weddings of up to 165 guests. A second ceremony room will always be kept available in the case of inclement weather so there is no need to worry about the weather spoiling your perfect day. The hire cost for The Loggia for a civil wedding starts from £650.00 (2013 tariff) plus the hire cost for outdoor seating at the prevailing rate (from approximately 2.00 per person). |

Civil weddings at Catthorpe Manor fall under the jurisdiction of the Leicestershire Registrars Office, who can be contacted on 0116 3056565 and who will advise on costs and availability for their attendance. Registrars fees are in addition to the hire costs for use of Catthorpe Manor.
